When Jane does this exercise, she is puzzled. Which one should she choose, which or where?

exercise: The restaurant ______ I used to go is my favourite.

Can you help her? What is the difference in using these two? Can we ‘google’ it and figure out (find out) the answer?

*************You need to explain why you choose this answer!!!!!*********************

The restaurant _WHICH_____ I used to go is my favourite.
When only for the times and where is for the places…………..

I think it is where.
The use of where is about the place and which is to describe somethings.
I think we can use ‘google’ it to find the answer.

The restaurant which I used to go is my
favourite.
Because ‘I’like the restaurant such as food

“Restaurant”is a place that the sentence is mentioned.
“Which” is talking about “thing”, and “where” is talking about “place”.

Comment by jerry

which!!

Comment by ashley

I think it’s WHICH because a restaurant can be a object but not a place.

Comment by LISKA

my answer is: where

because restaurant is a place, if we divide
it into two sentences, it would be “I used
to go to the restaurant” and “The
restaurant is my favorite.” I think it
just sounds like”The place ____ I used to
go is my favorite” and you won’t say
“The object ___I used to go is my favorite”
Is that right?? So my final answer is
WHERE!!!

Comment by KEN

um….the answer is….which!!!!!

Comment by Janice
